Dear clients,
We've got you covered!
In the interest of managing the risk of Covid19 infection and transmission we would ask that you please read the following, as these changes may effect your appointments with your Psychologist.

If you think that you may be suffering with symptoms of COVID-19, or if you think that you have been in contact with someone who may be suffering with symptoms of COVID-19, we direct your attention to the Australian Government Department of Health COVID-19 medical advice page: https://www.health.gov.au/health-topics/novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov. Here you will find up-to-date health alerts, medical advice, and a list of symptoms;

We have in place a COVID-19 Contingency Plan for members of our community, which enables you to continue to receive your scheduled psychological services in person (face-face) or via phone and/or video conferencing methods. The option to have your psychology sessions online via Telehealth e-counselling is available for all clients and therapists who choose to self isolate or are practicing social distancing. Please review our Telehealth and e-counselling section for further information. What we are doing to maintain a safe environment
• We have increased the frequency of clinic cleaning
• We have provided alcohol-based hand sanitiser at the entry to the clinic and ask that you sanitise your hands upon arrival. All consult rooms have hand sanitiser
• We are actively Covid19 screening all clients, family members, carers and support workers prior to coming into the clinic
• We actively encourage good hygiene and social distancing in the clinic and consult rooms
• We offer e-counselling for clients and staff who are unwell or social distancing to prevent interruption to your therapy
• We maintain a Covid19 tracing procedure and monitor the total number of people in our clinic to ensure optimal social distancing. Additional support services are available including: Community Recovery Hotline for vulnerable Queenslanders in COVID-19 quarantine: 1800 173 349
1300MHCALL 1300 64 22 55 Lifeline 13 11 14 13Health 13 43 25 84
BeyondBlue 1300 22 46 36 Alcohol & Drug Info Service 1800 177 833
We are confident that, if we all do our part and actively work together by following government medical guidelines, that there will be little disruption to your psychological treatment. We’re here to support you in maintaining good mental health. It's good to TALK!
Kind regards,

From the moment you enter our clinic, you know you are in good hands. Our Psychologists make a difference YES...we are NDIS providers

Today's Psychology is a registered psychology practice in Queensland, serving the northside of Brisbane. For over 15 years, our psychologists have worked with children, teens, adults and older adults in independent practice, hospitals and in school settings. Our purpose built clinic has a vintage, lived-in vibe. We have designed the clinic with you in mind. When you walk into our clinic you will notice that we have put a lot of thought into making the environment feel familiar, safe and comfortable to help you feel immediately at ease and supported. We know you will be unexpectedly surprised and relieved. From the moment you enter our clinic you know you are in good hands. With expert knowledge and genuine care, our psychologists want to support you towards optimal health and wellbeing outcomes.

When you seek therapy, it is because you want to change something about yourself or your situation, but are unsure of how to do it on your own. Anxiety, depression, loss, addiction, past traumas, relationship issues and a raft of other problems can rob your life of pleasure, satisfaction, purpose and enjoyment, often leaving us feeling out of control and unsafe.

We offer to help with making these changes, helping you to get the most out of your life, getting you back in control and feeling like you have direction again. Our psychologists will provide you with support, expert guidance and the tools necessary to get you back to living your best life.

Deciding on a psychologist is a very personal decision. It is important to get all of the facts about the services provided before you decide.

We understand these concerns and we hope this site will help educate you about our services. We have put information about our services, staff and philosophy here for you to learn more about us.

Thank you for taking the time to visit. Please get in touch if you have any questions or would like further information.

We look forward to working with you.
